Green Guru Project's Panera Day-End Dough Nation pickups are officially underway. Through this partnership, unsold baked goods are collected and redirected to food banks, homeless shelters, and community food pantries.
The model reduces food waste while supporting neighbors who need reliable access to meals. It also gives student volunteers a direct role in solving a local sustainability problem.
This kickoff is only the beginning. As the pickup system grows, we will continue tracking pounds rescued and communities served.
